Thanks to our State Senator Cindy Friedman, two jewels in Billerica are getting additional funding next year. Through bi-partisan efforts and working with many members at the State House she lobbied for more money.

The Billerica Community Pantry has kept food in people's pantries during the pandemic and will be settling into its new home next year as well. The $40,000 will ensure they continue to serve our community.

The Billerica Council on Aging provides so many essential services for many of our residents. $85,000 will help with much-needed building improvements.

The town has also allocated money for these programs and together, we will ensure Billerica always her residents.
