Accomplishments:

  • 2021-2021 Budget Approved

  • Community Preservation Committee projects funded

  • Middlesex Canal Museum restoration

  • Katie Durand Memorial

  • Talbot Lodge facility study and repairs

  • Billerica Affordable Housing Trust

  • Water and Sewer Infrastructure Improvements

  • Mixed Use Overlay Zoning District approved

  • minus DPW land owned by town

  • PUD Overlay removed

  • Construction of the Peggy Hannon-Rizza Complex approved

  • Expanded parking for town hall

  • Final step funded for Boston Road project

  • Authorized sections 37 and 38 of town wide sewer project

  • Arts Council is now Cultural Council

  • Middlesex County Animal Hospital expansion approved

  • Commercial Kennel approved in Industrial Zone w/ limitations

  • Rejected Voter ID stipulations

This town meeting was long but we pulled together and got the business of the town done. I'm proud of all the Representatives and members of the Town who ensured we were able to conduct Town Meeting safely and efficiently.
